PUBG Mobile’s 2025 Esports World Cup Schedule

The PUBG Mobile World Cup 2025 is split into three stages: Group Stage, Survival Stage, and Finals. Here are the dates:

PUBG Mobile at the 2025 Esports World Cup’s Format

The tournament features three distinct stages, starting with the Group Stage, where the 24 teams will be divided into three groups and play six matches each — totaling 18 matches overall.

The top eight teams from this stage qualify directly for the Grand Finals, while the other 16 move on to the Survival Stage. In the Survival Stage, 12 matches (six per day) will be played, with the top eight teams advancing to the final phase of the tournament.

The Grand Finals will feature the remaining 16 teams playing a total of 18 matches across three days. To increase the suspense and unpredictability, the Smash Rule will be activated on the third day — introducing a Match Point set 10 points above the leader’s score after the 12th match.

Any team that reaches or surpasses that Match Point becomes eligible to win via WWCD (Winner Winner Chicken Dinner), and will be declared the champion immediately. If no team reaches the threshold, the winner will be the team with the highest total score after all 18 matches.

PUBG Mobile 2025 Esports World Cup’s Prize Pool

Each stage of the PUBG Mobile tournament in Riyadh will feature its own prize distribution.

In the Group Stage, the top 8 teams will receive between $68,000 and $80,000, while the 16 teams moving to the Survival Stage will get $22,000 to $31,000.

The Survival Stage will award $18,000 to $25,000 to advancing teams, while those eliminated will earn between $10,000 and $17,000.

In the Grand Finals, the champions will take home $500,000 and the runners-up $250,000, while the last-place team in this stage will still walk away with $25,000.
