Refunds on Blaze: Learn How and When Your Bet Amount Can Be Returned!
Understand the situations in which your bet amount can be refunded — and why playing responsibly is essential for a safe experience.
Bets rely on luck, and just like any game, losing is part of the experience. Being prepared for this is one of the principles of Responsible Gambling, since a lost bet does not automatically mean you can get your money back — we understand it can be frustrating, though there are some cases where a refund on Blaze is possible.
To help you understand better, we’ve prepared this complete guide. We’ll explain in detail the situations where a player’s money can be refunded (and when it cannot). And, of course, we’ll provide a step-by-step guide for when you need to request a refund. Keep reading to learn more!
When is a refund on Blaze possible?
There are four occasions when you can request your money back on Blaze, which applies to both Betting Games and Sports Betting. Below, we explain each one:
Bets lost due to technical issues on the platform
Technical issues are a classic case where a refund on Blaze is possible, although it’s important to note that this only applies to technical problems on the platform and, consequently, on our side. This includes any interruption in a match after you’ve placed your bet caused by errors in the game interface itself.
Settlement error of a bet
When a bet is settled, its result is processed by the platform, and in case of a win, the winnings are added to the player’s Blaze wallet. If the bet is settled incorrectly, it is possible to request a correction through support channels.
Rules of specific betting markets
Some Betting Markets have specific rules that include refunding the staked amount or part of it — this happens during bet settlement. For example, Draw No Bet returns your money if the match ends in a draw, as do some options with Asian Handicap bets.
Cancelled bet
When a bet is voided, the money used for that wager is returned to the player. This usually happens in cases such as match cancellations, athlete withdrawals, market errors, or use of third-party accounts.
We explain this in more detail in our guide on Void Bets, including when the wager is part of a Multiple Bet — in which case the odds of a cancelled match are removed from the betting slip.
When Is It Not Possible to Request a Refund on Blaze?
There are some situations where it is not possible to be refunded after placing a bet. These are scenarios that are part of the normal experience on a betting platform, not consequences of platform errors. Below, we explain the main situations where refunds are not provided:
Normally lost bets
We don’t want to sound repetitive, but bets depend on random factors and luck. You may study a game’s mechanics or analyze data and statistics from a sporting event, and still lose. In these cases, Blaze cannot return your money, as this is considered part of the normal outcome of the game.
Bets lost due to issues with the player’s device
Any technical problem on the user’s device or internet connection instability is beyond our control — and therefore, the money from such a bet cannot be refunded. For example, if your phone freezes during a live match or your internet goes down, this is something we cannot fix.
Expired or canceled rewards
All Blaze Rewards have an expiration date, meaning they expire after a specific time and must be used before then. It is not possible to request a refund for unused rewards that have expired — so make sure to check the Rewards page to monitor each reward’s validity.
Additionally, there are cases where you must forfeit a reward to make a withdrawal. Think carefully before making this decision, as it is irreversible. For more information, read our content on Online Casino Rewards.
How to Request a Refund on Blaze
What should you do if you have a situation where a bet refund is possible? Blaze’s Support is responsible for assisting our players with platform issues and answering questions about these types of errors, so it is the channel that should be contacted.
To facilitate the process, have all relevant information ready and explain your case clearly and in detail — the agent needs to understand your request to provide the best assistance. Make sure to specify which game or market your bet was placed on and provide visual proof, such as images or recordings.
Check the Transactions page for the following information:
- Date: The date and time of the bet;
- ID: 11-digit code identifying the bet;
- Type: Indicates whether it was a placed bet (Game Provider Bet), winning bet (Game Provider Win), lost bet (Game Provider Loss), or used a Reward;
- Wallet: Shows whether the balance used was Real Money, Reward, or both;
- Amount: Shows the value added or deducted from the wallet, with green indicating an addition and red indicating a deduction;
- Starting Balance: Total funds across all wallets;
- Ending Balance: Total amounts in Real Money, Rewards, and combined total.
To submit a request, go to the Blaze Support Center, accessible from the bottom bar of the website, and follow these steps:
- Click on Contact Form and select the subject related to your issue by checking the list under What do you need help with?
- If your topic is not on the list, click Other [OTR], then select My problem is not listed above [ÚNKI] in the second line;
- You will be directed to the support form. Fill in your Name, Email, Subject of your request, and Message with details of your case.
Alternatively, you can also contact support via email at support@blaze.com. Note that Blaze VIP Club Diamond Rank players (Level 100 or higher) can contact VIP Support via WhatsApp.
It is important to note that our support team will review each case individually. If it is confirmed that the error originated from the platform and not external factors, the refund will be processed according to Blaze’s Terms of Service.
Bet Responsibly at Blaze!
We offer Casino Games and Sports Betting because we understand how entertaining they can be. This comes with the ethical commitment to always be transparent with our players about the risks involved and the rules — a mission recognized by regulatory authorities under Authorization SPA/MF No. 471, granted on March 10, 2025.
Bets are only for those over 18 and should be seen as entertainment and fun, not a source of income. Treating them as an investment or a way to earn extra income is extremely risky and can have serious impacts on your financial life and mental health — potentially leading to Gambling Addiction and severe consequences.
Therefore, study all the rules and the mechanics of each game or market before placing a bet. Also, only use money you can afford to lose, since refunds are only possible in the cases mentioned above — we want everyone to have fun responsibly and without issues!
Plan ahead, maintain balance, and if you need support, visit our Responsible Gambling page to learn about all the protection tools available.
