Remo’s 2025 season summary

Before diving into Remo’s 2025 campaign, it is worth revisiting the club’s recent history. In 2020, the team earned promotion to Série B, which they contested in 2021, but were relegated in the same year. The Pará side remained in Série C until 2024, when they returned to the second division after finishing 2nd in the second phase. As a result, their new stint in Série B was quicker and far more productive.

Remo went unbeaten until the 9th round of Série B, with four wins and two draws. Their first defeat came in early June, followed by a win and two losses.

The team maintained a rhythm of wins, draws and spaced-out defeats. However, the Leão truly hit their stride from the 29th round onward, going on a winning run through to the 34th round. Just one point separated Clube do Remo from Criciúma in the promotion race, with the Pará side finishing with 62 points.

In addition to the Brazilian Championship, Remo competed in the Copa do Brasil, Copa Verde and Campeonato Paraense. In the national knockout competition, they were eliminated in the second round. In the regional tournament, they also exited early, on penalties. The trophy they lifted in 2025 was the state championship.
